LATEST NEWS: 3D PRINTED BUILDING FACADE FOR THE TATE MODERN
The 3D Print Lab designers Something & Son are creating a replica Baroque facade for the Tate Modern using 3D printed tiles. The facade will explore the use of 3D Printing as facade material and demonstrate its potential for creating new geometries and detailed sculptural work, for example the restoration of historic buildings, or bespoke patterned facades.
The bar will open in early July 2013.

Manual 3D PrintingSomething & Son landed in La Ricescentes shopping Centre in Milan to debut their human 3D Printing technique. Copying 3D printing by using glue guns and sand Andy & Paul built a lamp in 3 hours.

Bring and Fix ItFollowing a successful trial run the 3D_PrintLab is heading out into the community in Summer 2012 to find and fix Hackney residents broken bits and bobs.
